TEMPTATION OF WIFE (also known as Wife’s Temptation / Wife’s Revenge / Cruel Temptation) Tagalog-dubbed aired on GMA 7, is a Koreanovela produced and broadcasted by SBS Korea and aired from November, 2008-Nov-03 to May, 2009 with a total of 129 episodes. Temptation of Wife talks about a woman Goo Eun Jae (Jang Seo Hee) who becomes revengeful after she was nearly killed by her husband Jung Gyo Bin (Byun Woo Min). She survives the "accident" but upon her return, she finds out that her husband already has another woman and a child. In order to seek revenge, she tries all means to tempt him. Gyo Bin, who thought that his wife has drowned and is already dead, is astonished by this woman who looks exactly like her but with a completely different personality. Despite many controversies about the questionable content of the drama, it currently remains to be one of the most highly watched dramas averaging around 30% each day, and the cast winning several awards including the Daesang (Grand Prize) for lead actress Jang Seo Hee at the SBS Drama Awards.
