Filipino-TV aims to reach out to all Filipinos, especially those of you who are abroad including the Overseas Filipino Workers, who so earnestly desire to keep in touch and updated with what's happening with the Philippines. We understand how stressful or lonely it is to be in a strange land and anything that would remind you of the Philippines, especially if it is in the form of entertainment would somehow ease your suffering. Filipino-TV, thus, provides a way for you to relax and feel 'at home' by watching Filipino TV shows online. We fully recognize the existence of The Filipino Channel (TFC) and GMA PinoyTV and we do not intend to discourage viewers from subscribing to their services. However, a lot of our kababayans are still not able to gain access to both networks, either due to their location or financial concerns. We are simply giving you an alternative. We welcome all Pinoys with open arms. Mabuhay!

We wish to thank you for SHARING HARAPAN VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE 03/21/10 (Abs-Cbn/ANC) on FACEBOOK or TWITTER.
| |||
Harapan: The Vice Presidential Debate of Abs-Cbn's Boto Mo Ipatrol Mo features 6 of the Vice Presidentiables running for the May 2010 Elections. These are Mar Roxas, Bayani Fernando, Loren Legarda, Jay Sonza, Jun Yasay and Jojo Binay. Edu Manzano turned down the invitation to join the debate. Harapan: The Vice Presidential Debate was held live from La Consolacion College in Manila hosted by Ted Failon.For us in Filipino-TV, two candidates shone during the debate, namely, Mar Roxas and Jay Sonza. We feel sorry for the latter because of his poor showing in the surveys and very limited exposure. He really did well with his very intellectual, practical and eloquent answers to a lot of issues which was actually a big revelation. We hope he is given the chance to serve the country in whatever capacity in the future. Loren Legarda is a disappointment because it seems all she is focused on is to bring down her closest rival, who happens to be Mar Roxas. At every opportunity, she never lets it pass to hurl comments or inuendoes referring to Roxas, not even thinking that those same remarks would turn back to her. Bayani Fernando, Jun Yasay and Jojo Binay had their own share of both shining and not-so-good moments.
